do the job right. Wearing an anti-static wrist strap while working on static sensitive electronic devices and systems is a crucial component of standard ESD protection measures.
The AWS1 woven strap is knitted with a highly conductive yarn. The strap fabric is highly elastic, yet an adjustable locking buckle makes
it fully sizeable through the complete length of the strap, so it can always be tightened or loosened as needed. This is the anti-static wrist strap that comfortably fits
any wrist size.
The buckle material is made of POM, a highly machineable and stable plastic material historically used in surgical implants. The stainless
steel back plate ensures excellent conductance on the wrist, very low chance of allergic reaction, and longevity of wrist strap service.
This AWS1 anti-static wrist strap has a 7mm male snap to fit most common ground cords. A ground cord with a matching 7mm female snap is
required for this wrist strap to function.
ApogeeKits stocks two ground cord lengths (6 foot or 10 foot) to fit this wrist strap. Please see our compatible
